If you cultavters are off screen you dont get anything the way they coded this is garbage and yes they need to either revert the changes or do a another balancing patch to fix this garbage with cultivators at large. As soon as i go back to the cultivator farm at the outpost and "Time it" then i went back to base it started to rise by 8 PLAD EVERY BLOODY SEC. I finished with 12 when i stopped plad did not go up at all. just spent half hour at home base, sitting there, constantly checking plad amounts. set up 2 cultvators and one collecter on a new game. decided to test it tonight becuase stuff was not adding up. The fact that I'm getting some cobalt on the side is nice, but it's not my primary source of cobalt. So for example, on my main base map: You bet I have a farm going to get ferdonite. do the resources get mined out when you are not at the outpost like they do when your are on the mapĪs I understand it anyways Cultivators were only ever meant to be the primary method of getting the "-ite" resources. You might get attacked during setup certainly, but the output of rare miners is just so much greater than cultivator/harvester farms, there's no comparisson.Īs I understand it anyways Cultivators were only ever meant to be the primary method of getting the "-ite" resources. It's far more efficient to go to the swamp, find a good area to camp out, set up a few rare miners and then just forget about it for a while. You just aren't going to see the same instantaneous rate each time you look.Īs far as the work needed to get palladium You're right, getting it through cultivators is a lot of work right now. Originally posted by adder007usa:No, you don't have to "Time it". you have to put so much work just to gain rare resoures and when you do they are giving less than 1 a sec but with the way they are now, cultavters are just not worth using especially if you have to jump through hoops when using them and outposts pair with their pitiful gains. I dunno how op they were before and if the nerf was good. ![]() so each time i leave a map with cultavaters I'm supposed to time it? that seems like really bad design and a really bad hassle to work with. By the time you got to the new map, your farm might be in a state where there are several trees growing, not ready for harvest, compared to those that are ready to be picked. The 0.6 may have been a moment where you had multiple harvests occuring within a very short time span. So it's not going to be a constant rate of gain. EuroGamer reckons the next Battlefield game will be a WWII title.Originally posted by adder007usa:Unlike miners, which just output a set rate per second, your cultivators have to plant trees, wait for them to grow, send out harvest drones, bring back to the harvester.
